Let’s Get This Party Started!!

OK-so I feel the need to start this in some way. To have a begining of sorts. I always like to know what is going to be happenning. I am not so good at winging it, which isn’t such a good trait when you have kids. Three to be exact.
Jake is my brooding soon to be 13 year old son. Molly is my crazy creative 9 year old (next week) daughter. And a very happy, sensory loving, soon to be 4 year old duaghter we call Destructo! Oh, I mean Ginger. My husband works way too much and for all intensive purposes would like to be left out of this blog.
We are a homeschooling family. I have blogged in my head for years but didn’t think anyone would really care to read what I had to say about our daily craziness. Until a lightbulb went off the other day when I realized there are people blogging about specific things. Yeah, I know I am slow! Like about art and projects they do with there kids. Wow! That was it!! I found my reason for sticking my neck out into the blogging world.
We do tons of art, crafts and projects! I am a jack of all trades and master of ideas. I have books and folders and filing cabnets full of things to do!! I am hoping to share some great ideas and use this blog as a sort of scrap book and as a motivator to try some new experiments and activities.
So there you go-we have begun!

I am here via cool dawn

Kristin, Made my way here from Dawn’s. I’m another crafter/unschooler/blogger type. If you’re not familiar with Lapaz Farm, there’s another blog that might be of interest to you - she does tons of very specific posts about her activities and curriculum (she uses a Montessori method). I think if you google that you’ll come up with a link. Good luck!

Well Dawn sent me over this way, and I’m gonna subscribe to your blog.

I’m mom to a 20 month old, and I’m always looking for new crafty stuff for her to do! She is really starting to get into it these days.

So there you go, now you have another loyal reader :)

Actually, I’m glad I followed Dawn’s link to you because I’m the complete opposite of you but w/a sensory loving child (she is 9) that LOVES crafts and I had decided that this year I was going to try really hard to do easy, fun crafts w/ her except it’s already almost March and I haven’t done much so I’ll be looking foward to getting (ahem…stealing) some ideas and/or getting motivated enough to craft w/ my child. Welcome to the blogging world.

Welcome to Blogland!!
