I found 2 packs of Kool-aid in the way back of the cupboard today. I gave Ginger the choice of which flavor she wanted to make to drink and which she wanted to use to make Kool-aid playdough. I’ll give you a hint:
Black cherry for drinking and lemonade for playdough.
I decided to try and mix it up a bit and gave each girl a ball of playdough and sent them outside. None of the regular props we usually use.
They used sand from the sandbox and mixed it in.
They also pulled a snorkle mask out of the garage and put it on to make face prints in the plydough-goofy kids!!
Kool-Aid Playdough Recipe
1 cup flour
1/2 cup salt
2 tsp cream of tarter
1 package of kool-aid
1 Tablespoon oil
Mix all dry ingrediants together in medium size pan Add oil and water Mix well Put over med heat and stir constantly. It will start to glop together and eventually form into a ball. Knead on the table-careful its’ HOT.
Note-We added a bit of food coloring to our lemonade mix as it had no color.
Tomorrow soccer and a party for my husband and I to attend.

Is that your Kool-Aid jug and cup set? I’m so jealous of your vintage treasures.
Great to see you and kids doing their stuff yesterday.
