Parched
OK we have been here for three days and I am dried up like fruit leather! I can’t seem to drink enough or keep enough chap stick on my lips!!! The amount of static electricity in my clothes is making for some fashion faux pas. The sticking and riding up with every move…..
Other than that, the trip so far has been great.
We made it to the Grand Canyon in time for sunset. It was 18 degrees!!!
We stayed in this cute little cabin 10ft from the rim of the canyon. We were up early to catch sunrise and hike a small part of a trail.
Then we went in search of a hot spring in the desert….with no luck. It’s easy to see how people get lost in the desert. Every cactus and rock looks alike!
I am missing my kids and can’t wait to see them, but before that, their are other sights to be seen, another hot spring to find and another casino to visit, (I won $50 on the way up to the grand Canyon!!)
You guys are adorable! I’m glad you’re having fun AND that you’re willing to potluck on the DAY YOU GET IN (you’re insane). Now go win some more money!
