Our local Newspaper proclaimed that this, Dec 1-7, week, is National Cookie Cutter Week. So in honor of that we made Crispy Cheese Stars.
You will need 2 of the same shape cookie cutters; one smaller than the other. We used stars. You also need flour tortillas and some cheese, we used American and cheddar.
First we used the larger star shape to cut out a star from the tortillas.
Place them in a 350 degree oven for 5 minutes.
Meanwhile use the smaller cutter to cut out the cheese.
Place them onto the tortilla stars and put them back into the oven for 2 more minutes.
Sprinkle with chili powder or paprika.
Enjoy!!
Thanks for all the votes for the C Note show!! Hopefully I will sell something!
This weeks Quarter Recipe Theme will be BREAD. On Thursday post your recipe on your blog and link to PepperPaints. Then come here and add the link to your BREAD RECIPE in the comments so we can all come to your recipe party.

Oooh, I like this! Great way to get the kids involved when it’s taco night! Anything that’s going to stop the two year olds from wanting to “help” with the stove.
National Cookie Cutter Week. Now I have never heard of that. But I am always looking for a good reason to bake up some snickerdoodles. My stomach is growling just thinking of it! Looks like the kids and I are going to have to learn about cookie cutter week tonight. I know they will be happy.
