Go Go Go

It’s almost over-this hectic busy time of year. About now I am wishing for a day to just stay home and do nothing. But soon enough we will be pushed right back into our regular old routine and these days  of visiting and celebrating will be just a memory. So I guess I will take advantage of them and visit all the exhibits that we meant to see before the beginning of the year and use up all of our coupons that expire at the end of the year-all in the next week!

Today the kids had a  stilt dancing performance at The Conservatory. They did awesome-as usual! I am so proud of them that each time they perform I have a hard time holding back the tears! They will be ringing in the new year downtown at First Night again this year too!!

  1. love those photos! :)

best of everything in the new year.

  2. They were great! (Especially with all of those scary water spots on the floor.) Dec loved it and I overheard 2-3 kids near us begging their parents to take stilting classes.

    Good to see you there.

It looks like summer in the pics. I love all the colors. We on the other hand have been lying around like slugs since the day after Xmas. My house is falling apart. I’m just waiting for Dan to go back to work so i can actually do some cleaning.

  4. My god! That looks so hard. I am amazed. Takes awesome balance to pull that off. Cools colorful pics as well. Cheers!

  5. That last picture is great! Well, they’re all great, but I love that last one.

  6. Love the elevator shot!!!
Happy New Year filled with many more moments like this one!

  7. Great pictures! I happily got to watch your kids in a circus performance several months back, and…wow! They really do put on a good show.

Also? Jake ROCKS his stilts. I have NEVER seen anyone saunter about on stilts like Jake does! He makes stilt walkin’ look so easy.

Their costumes are fabulous too — bright, colorful, and eye-catching. Fun to watch!

  8. John-They make it look easy!! Thanks for always leaving such nice comments here!! I will surely be using some ideas from yours soon!

  9. Lisa-Thanks! I tried to leave a comment on your blog but blogger seems to hate me. Love the colors of your glook!

  10. My son just learned to walk on stilts this year in kindergarten. He’s at 21 inches. Your photos and the costumes are inspirational! Put stilt costumes on my list for 2009.
