Christie….They were a little tough to squeeze but even harder to cut a slit into!! I had a hard time poking a hole into them to get started cutting.

We they very hard to squeeze?
We made the balloon version late summer and I am still finding them everywhere. Fortunately none have broken yet. We are making them for Valentine gifts for classmates now.

WE had our girlscout troop try to make stress balls during one of our camping trips. The instruction say to inflate a balloon, pinch the bottom of the neck while having another person put a funnel into the top of the neck, fill the funnel with cornstarch then open the neck of the balloon to let the corn starch pour into the balloon. Well as you might imagine when you let go of the neck of the balloon all the air shoots up into the funnel shooting all the cornstarch everywhere. It was quite hilarious, incredibly messy and ultimately impossible to make.

I couldn’t wait for the Unplugged link, so I’m searching around on my break! Nice…I saw this tutorial too, but I foresaw just what you did…rice and or beans scattered throughout the house! Great juggling!
