This weeks unplugged theme is HAPPY. I usually ask the kids for ideas on the theme and this week each of the girls had their own ideas.
Ginger wanted to eat smiley oranges.
Molly wanted to make happy faces outside. We looked through some Andy Goldworthy books, (Awesome environmental artist), to get some ideas.
Then we hunted and gathered.
And finally created!
Being able to spend time outside certainly makes me happy!

i look at those pictures and i am SO HAPPY!!
thanks for sharing.
The orange smile reminds me of soccer games when I was kid.
And I love the nature faces. How neat.
very creative.. I love what you did for this weeks unplugged project
how great would it be to leave the nature happy faces on a trail for someone else to find later!! share the happiness!!
Cute idea to make the happy faces out of outside objects! Yummy oranges! I loved looking at everyone’s theme…it seems the more open ended the better!
My girls love making creating art outside also. Your day looks so sunny. I will be glad when our snow is gone!
I LOVE LOVE LOVE the nature faces! What an awesome idea…
Bobbie, Great idea!
